Last Load of the Day Christmas Card
This scene shows a logging truck coming out of the woods with the last load of the day. The Dogwood in bloom on the left indicates that it is springtime.
At this time of the year the humidity usually permits logging for longer hours. The thunderhead is an ominous reminder that summer is not far away. Summer humidity is usually low, bringing extreme fire danger and limiting working hours to early morning. Though lightning storms cause many fires, unattended campfires and man's carelessness in general also cause many disasters.
