Berger Swing Boom Loader, Art Print
As it appeared in 1949, this swing boom loader was the fastest loader on the market at the time; it had a fast 180-degree swing, capable of handling loads of any size. It could be mounted on a sled or truck.
The gooseneck steel boom was a simple design and it operated on roller bearings throughout the machine.
It was the forerunner of the smaller, more efficient equipment designed to handle smaller logs in today's timber industry.
