Clearing Trees & Stumps Near Brush Creek Art Print

This oil painting depicts an International Harvester TD-24, provided by the Howard Cooper Corporation, at work in the 1950s for the Wooley Logging Company of Drain, Oregon. The tractor is busy clearing trees and stumps for a main truck-haul road near Brush Creek in southern Oregon. This TD-24 happened to be the 500th TD-24 sold by the Howard Cooper Corporation at that time. For many years, the colors of the International Harvester tractors were red and black, until the mid-1950s when the colors were changed to yellow and black. These companies are no longer in business. However, their marks on the pages of Oregon's logging history have been solidly made in the state's timber country.
