The Climax Art Print
The Climax was one of the early locomotives used in the woods of the west coast; Yeon & Pelton, Portland Lumber Company, Silver Falls Timber Company, Giustina Bros. Lumber Company, and others owned Climax steam locomotives for their woods operations in the early 1900s.
A black bear sow is urging her cubs to forget their curiosity about this smoke- and fire-belching demon and follow her to the safety of the timber where they will soon hibernate for the rest of the winter.
